Deep Woods & Recreation

Deep Woods

Deep Woods is what we call our wooded property at Crossroads. In Deep Woods, we have three secluded cabins for retreat and solitude, as well an open space for camp fires and group activities.

The Cabins

Deep Woods has three cabins back in our woods called Journey, Faith, and Hope. Journey is the closest one, Faith is only a short walk back, and Hope is about a ten minute walk in the woods. The cabins are usually open May-October. They are free to reserve and can sleep 2 people (not for co-ed use). To reserve a cabin fill out the form and we’ll reach out to you to coordinate getting you a key to the cabin.

The Woods

In addition to the cabins, the Deep Woods has a fire pit, a reflective gazebo, and a trail. Depending on the time of year, the trail may be muddy or need clearing. To check on the status of the trail, you can call the church office at 419-229-4074.

Outdoor Recreation

On our campus, we have many outdoor activities that our community is invited to use such as a playground, sand volleyball pit, gaga ball, and other games available. For the safety of our daycare and so we can plan to have activities ready, we ask that you reserve a space to get permission. If you would like to reserve a space in our recreational area, please give us a call at 419-229-4074 or fill out the form linked in the button.
