Brian is a Northern California native--a transplant to the Lima area--who has a desire to see individuals and families pursue life as Apprentices to Jesus. He has served in various roles as a mentor and continues to seek out ways in which we can live in deep, inter-generational community with one another. A passionate speaker who came aboard the Crossroads staff in July of 2015, Brian gives oversight to the worship services, staff, ministries, and general direction of the church. Brian and his wife, Jeanna, have five children: Samantha, Alec, Nathaniel, Andrea, and Isaiah. Brian is a (very) proud San Francisco sports fan--watching the Giants and the 49ers is a blessing he would love to share with you anytime!
Jason oversees the Creative Arts Ministry and Welcome Ministry at Crossroads. He grew up in Nebraska and made his way to Lima by way of Indiana, Georgia and Washington state. He married “international” when he married Katerina (she’s Canadian, and a daughter of a German mom and Russian dad). They also have two little girls, Hailey and Bethany. Jason loves to write, arrange and play music, and use the arts to lead people to engage with our loving God. He spends time following the Huskers, watching sci-fi, playing racquetball and table tennis, playing in a couple of 80’s cover bands, and most of all spending time with his beautiful wife and two adorable girls. Jason joined our team in July of 2007.
Jake has served as Crossroads' Youth, Children, and Family Pastor since 2013. He and his wife, Brittany, love to laugh, play games, and watch their son, Xander--who was born on May 4th, 2015--learn and experience new things. Jake's favorite part of ministry is being consistently reminded that all generations of people, old and young, need each other to learn and grow. His greatest passion is becoming the pastor, father, husband, and man Christ has called him to be. He enjoys playing golf, video games, board games, and anything else that involves competition.
Brenda has been married to her husband, Jeff, for 34 years. They have two sons, Ricky and Ryan, and are excited to be first-time grandparents of a little baby girl! Kristi and her husband, Chad, have been married since 1986. They have two children, Casey and Clint (Kari). The Spencer's have been attending Crossroads since 1995. Kristi has served in various areas and is currently volunteering with the Praise Team. Prior to coming on board as the Finance Administrator, Kristi taught mathematics at Wapakoneta High School for 31 years. When not working, she loves to read, go to baseball games, and be with family and friends. Kristi joined the Crossroads team in June, 2017.
Susie and her husband Doug live on a 16 acre farm which they share with a mishmash of furry and feathered friends spanning from horses to peacocks. God has used this peaceable kingdom to bless Susie with his presence as he imprints his love for her upon her heart. She has spent many hours behind her camera, capturing the farm moments and she brings this love to record Crossroads events. Susie has been involved in communication both visually and through print most of her life. This skill helps her communicate her passionate desire to share the wonder of God's love with others. Susie joined the Crossroads team in November 2013.
