Worship Gatherings

Frequently Asked Questions

At the center of everything we do is gathering to express our love to God and to hear him speak truth and love to us. Here are some frequently asked questions that will help you prepare for your first, second, or hundredth visit to Crossroads.

When are our worship gatherings?

We gather at 9:00am and 10:30am each Sunday. Both gatherings are identical in content.

We are known in the Lima area as "the church with the blue roof," and for good reason: you can easily see our building on the southeast corner of Thayer Rd. and State Route 309.

What Should I Expect?

As you enter the building, you will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. If you are a first-time visitor, we invite you to stop by our Welcome Area, where we have a small gift for you. We also have a Connection Table where you can see what's going on at Crossroads, and a Free Coffee Bar where we serve coffee, juice, fruit and donuts.

Our gatherings typically last a little over an hour and have a friendly and informal atmosphere. Worship is interactive; we do not gather to simply be inspired or entertained, but to unite as a body to raise our voices and hands, kneel and pray, and sit in silence before God. Music is led by a full band that plays a blend of contemporary and traditional Christian songs.

We invite our children to join us for the first few songs of each service. They then go to Crossroads Kids, a fun, friendly, and Scripture-focused environment. For teenagers, Crossroads Students is a place to learn about God and how to apply Christian principles to daily life.
